Rome and Wines of Tuscany & Cinque Terre 6 Days/5 Nights

Day 1 – Saturday: ROME
On arrival, and after collecting your luggage, passport control and customs, please make your way to the meeting point for your transfer into Rome.
Terminal 1 – Meeting Point, at the exit of the baggage claim area
Terminal 3 – Meeting Point column Number 3
Transfer from Rome Airport to the hotel in Rome. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight at the Hotel Gambrinus 4* (or similar).
Dinner is not included.
Day 2 – Sunday: ROMA – PISA – LUCCA – LA SPEZIA
After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel for the drive to Pisa. Visit of the city of the Leaning Tower, a unique masterpiece located in Piazza dei Miracoli. Continue on to Lucca, one of the flagships of the Tuscany region, also known as the city of a hundred churches for the large number of religious buildings in the historic centre. Departure for La Spezia and your overnight stay. Welcome dinner at local restaurant and overnight stay.
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Day 3 – Monday: LA SPEZIA – CINQUE TERRE – SIENA AREA
After breakfast, depart by boat to discover of one of the most amazing and enchanting landscape in the World: Cinque Terre, an area suspended between sea and land, hanging from sheer cliffs surrounded by hills and vineyards. Admire this amazing landscape from the sea. (In the event of rough sea, the visit will be done by train.) During the tour, the boat will reach Porto Venere and the most important villages where you can stop and visit. Take some pictures, walk the narrow streets and immerse yourself in this colourful postcard pretty destination! You will reach La Spezia by train from where you will take a private motor coach to the Siena area. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 – Tuesday: SIENA AREA – GAIOLE in CHIANTI – RADDA IN CHIANTI – GREVE in CHIANTI – SAN CASCIANO in VAL di PESA – SAN GIMIGNANO
Breakfast at the hotel and depart to discover the wonderful Chianti area, considered the heart of Tuscany and renown throughout the world for its famous wines. Free time in Gaiole in Chianti, Radda in Chianti and Greve in Chianti. Continue to San Gimignano and on the way stop near San Casciano in Val di Pesa for a wine tasting in a charming winery. On arrival in San Gimignano, free visit of the historic centre of this small medieval town declared a UNESCO heritage site. Another wine tasting is the perfect end to a wonderful day. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Day 5 – Wednesday: SIENA AREA – SIENA – MONTEPULCIANO – ROME
Breakfast at the hotel and a guided tour of the historic centre of Siena, a medieval city built around Piazza del Campo, famous throughout the World for its architectural beauty and its particular shell shape. Visit Montepulciano to taste the Vino Nobile, one of the oldest and most prestigious wines of Tuscany and then depart for Rome and drop-off at the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel Gambrinus 4* (or similar).
Dinner is not included.
Day 6 – Thursday: ROME
Breakfast at the hotel and departure transfer from the hotel in Rome to Rome Airport or Railway Station.
Station Transfer: Pick up time for transfers to the Railway Station are usually 1 hour prior to the train departure time.
Airport Transfer: Pick-up time for transfers to the airport is 3 to 3.5 hours prior to flight departure time.
Exclusions:
Tourist tax not included and to be paid on the spot.
Only one suitcase (any size) and one handbag per person is allowed.
