Le Palmiste Resort & Spa is a homely 3-star hotel situated in the quaint, sun-drenched seaside village of Trou aux Biches, in the north-west of Mauritius.

The hotel has a total of 100 nicely appointed rooms in three categories and five different wings (Bougainvillées, Frangipane, Ravenala, Hibiscus and Anthurium), each on two levels.
All of them have a garden and pool view, except for Standard Anthurium Rooms



Le Cateau Vert
Combining the charm of wood, stone and warmcolours, the hotel’s restaurant has a lively covered seating area overlooking a central courtyard pool.
Le Cateau Vert can accommodate up to 220 guests and provides a relaxed setting to enjoy a delectable meal and impeccable service.

Dress code:
appropriate clothing required at meal times, casual and elegant at dinner; swimwear and pareos are not allowed in the restaurant. At dinner time, shorts are not accepted in the restaurant.
Two bars: Le Ralph’s & PoolBar
The hotel has two poolside bars which are great places to hang out, unwind and sip a cocktail, some home-made flavoured rum or a refreshing drink. Both are open daily from 10a.m. until late evening.
Drinks and a selection of snacks are also served at the Pool Bar every day between noon and 6p.m

Claimed by the Dutch in the year 1598, and occupied by the French between 1715 and 1810, Mauritius was ruled by Great Britain from 1814 after the Treaty of Paris. The island gained independence from Britain in 1968 and became a Republic in 1992.

The island is blessed with a tropical climate. Summer is from November to May, during this period the temperature varies between 22 °C and 35 °C. Winter is from May to November with a temperature variance between 17 °C and 26 °C. The sea temperature varies between 22 °C and 26 °C.
